These ring so true, and make me wonder if I have ADHD or ADHD overlapping symptoms (like anxiety and the need to be a perfectionist!)
I’ve found lately that the only thing that works is a whiteboard that’s right in front of my face every day, with an intention for the day and a loose to do list. Then my Google calendar for all appts etc.
I imagine that lots of people would resonate with planning struggles, and they probably don't have ADHD... but it's definitely worth looking into if some of my other posts also resonate :)
I'm not a fan of whiteboards, but I can see how they could work well. Thanks for commenting!
Great post & I totally relate. I have so many beautiful planners I had such high hopes for - all half empty and abandoned. the only one I stick with is my trusty Moleskine week-to-view pocket diary and a blank notebook for journalling and other notes. Both would be illegible & nonsensical to anyone else but I manage life, work & family fine this way. scap perfectionism ;)
Hi Leesa! I've never tried a Moleskine (I know...!), but I want to. I just don't seem to gravitate towards anything fancy these days lol. Glad you got the chance to read this & hope to see you over on my other posts xx
I’ve tried everything too! But Asana is the only one that I can make work. I use it daily for work but also personally too, especially for William’s appointments. I don’t know what I’d do without it now. I’m in the process of moving everything over to it from Notion, notes, google docs etc, etc.
I agree, having everything in one place makes it so much easier 😅
I really wanted to like Asana but I just didn't!! I'm more of a Notion girl, although I use it more as a 'second brain' than a planning tool. Interesting to hear your perspective Sophie, and I'm glad you've found what works for you!
