Today’s post is a poem I wrote recently about how tech impacts us and the feeling of fighting against the hold technology has on us. I hope this post inspires you to think about your own tech usage and to consider spending less time on screens. For more from this series, click here.


We are small people in the land of Tech Giants.

I don't know how I feel about that.

Conscious that I depend on them for so much of my life,

but also hating the way they control my brain,

making me feel like I've accomplished nothing when I have.

I want something to change,

but I'm not sure what.
